Dr. Nicole M. KishOD, PC
Dr. Nicole M. Kish, is a Board Certified Optometrist and owner of her own practice. Dr. Kish was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. She received her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University in 1993. Dr. Kish attended Pacific University in Oregon where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1997. Upon graduation, she practiced optometry in the Dallas area. She later relocated to Norman, Oklahoma where she served as an Air Force optometrist in the Oklahoma Air National Guard for four years and opened her own practice in Norman in 1999.
Dr. Kish has had a wide range of training and experiences. She specializes in ocular diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. In addition to her 22 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kish is a professional speaker for Vistakon, a division of Johnson and Johnson Vision Care, Inc. Dr. Kish is actively involved with the optometric community.
Dr. Kish is passionate about caring for her patients and is dedicated to providing the best vision care available. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys golfing, fine dining, and traveling the world.
Dr. Jackie Powers
Dr. Jackie Powers obtained her undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University with a major in Organismic Biology. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2006. Dr. Powers opened her own private practice in 2008 and has been serving the area of Norman since that time. Dr. Powers sees patients of all ages; however, she has special interest in the pediatric population. She routinely sees patients as young as eight months through eighteen years of age. Dr. Powers background is in behavioral optometry.Dr. Powers works to ensure not only visual clarity, but also functional vision in eye teaming, focusing ability and eye tracking to help influence academic performance. She is a member of the Oklahoma Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
